What's New

Property Tax Statements

Property Tax statements for tax year 2009, due in 2010, were mailed in January. Property taxes may be paid in full by April 30, or in two installments with the first half due by the last day of February and the second half due by June 15. The tax statement will include two payment coupons, one for a full or first half payment and another for a second half payment. Please include the appropriate coupon along with your check.

Please note that the payment address located on the payment coupon has changed to PO Box 5728, Denver, CO 80217. Payments mailed to an incorrect address may be returned to sender and could result in delinquent taxes and/or delayed processing of your account.

If you require a receipt for taxes paid, you must request it in writing and include a stamped self-addressed envelope along with your payment and coupon. Or you may print a copy of your payment history by using the Property Tax Inquiry search above and accessing your payment history in the tax details screen.

Please be aware that your payment check may be converted to a one time electronic payment and your checking account could be debited as soon as the same day payment is received.

Several payment options are available for both current and prior year taxes.  Click here for further information.

You can now pay your property taxes in person by credit card as well as online or by telephone.

Note: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and E-check accepted. A third party convenience fee will be charged in addition to the taxes due. In person credit card payments can now be accepted at the Castle Rock OfficeVisa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Echeck.
