The Office of the Public Trustee is a financially autonomous agency providing deeds of trust oversight services for property owners within the county. Responsibilities of the office include releasing Deeds of Trust and overseeing foreclosure proceedings. The office is committed to helping property owners understand Colorado laws and their rights regarding releases of Deeds of Trust, as well as foreclosure processes and serves as a liaison between property owners and lenders.
